I have been involved in sports since my childhood and i have seen many different coaches and training places. Based on my personal experience I can say that Katsu Dojo in Malaysia is a perfect place for an individual to train. A trainee will grow there physically, mentally and spiritually. I want to shortly describe the most important aspects that are being taught in this very gym
1) Discipline- We all know that discipline is an essential factor to be practiced for someone who wants to succeed in life. I assure you that if you train there you will definitely find it and you will start to implement in your real life.
2) Respect- you learn how to show respect for people. Yeah, we all think that we do not have to be taught but you will understand what I mean by respect when you join this Dojo.
3) Coach- he is the best coach that I have come across in my life as a sportsman and i really love him as a coach and as a human being. He taught me many things and i am very thankful to him for that.
Before i was very agressive and i always wanted to fight but I managed to change because of Shihan Yahya. Most of the times when we fight outside it is because we are not confident enough and that is why we fight. We want to prove to ourselves that we can beat the guy. Maybe for some people it is different but for me (i came to release it after couple of years only) lt is as I described it “lack of confidence”. Confidence comes with training and the desire to fight outside leaves you when have enough fights in the gym.
4) Dedicated man- Shihan Yahya is very serious with the teaching and he will teach you whatever he knows if you are a serious guy. You see, when i was doing stamina running with him, he would come before me (SOMETIMES he would even give me call and wake me up from my sleep). What i am trying to say here is that he was there waiting for me while i was having my beautiful dreams. I personally do not like to wait for people, esspecially if i have come to help or to do something for them. This is why he is one of the best in coaching and i loved to train.
To conclude this, i would say that Shihan Yahya himself is very dedicated man. He never comes late for trainings, he does not give excuses, he deals with you with respect, he is just, and he tries to pay attention to all the students all the time.
